U.S. orders over $80 ship for FREE!
Orders below $80 ship for $4.95.
Standard shipping is USPS (United States Postal Service).
UPS Ground service is $15, free on orders over $250. See some restrictions below.
Orders are shipped USPS Mail or UPS Ground based on your choice during checkout with a few exceptions. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other non-contiguous locations will only be shipped USPS. Also, USPS is the only option to ship to PO boxes or US military/diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO, DPO).
- USPS Mail delivers in 1-3 business days but is not guaranteed. Orders to non-contiguous states may be longer.
- Orders shipped UPS Ground take 1-5 business days depending on how close you are to us in Texas.
Normally, orders ship within 1-2 days and most within 24 hours. Orders are shipped every day except Sunday and major holidays.
- During peak times and sales we may get behind on filling orders. If we get beyond a 48 hour period we try to keep you updated by posting a shipping update on our view cart page.
- If your order is urgent please let us know and we will get right on it. Also, please keep in mind that if you order a yard of 25 different fabrics your order may take a wee bit more time than if you order a charm pack!
- We can only change or combine orders if notified within 1 hour of the original order. Orders start to get processed and filled often within minutes regardless of time or day placed.
- We cannot combine pre-orders with regular store orders.
- We may change standard shipping methods at our discretion if a shipment results in oversize charges. This most often would apply to orders that include batting, cutting mats, or other large items.
- **Downloadable patterns, gift certificates, and membership/pre-order fees are not included in shipping calculations.

- Disclaimer: We have had repeated issues shipping to a few countries and have been forced to adopt a "ship at your own risk" policy for these countries: South Africa, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, India, Namibia, Pakistan, Falkland Islands, and United Arab Emirates. We will not be able to reliably track or re-ship your package if it is not delivered and will not provide refunds or credits for lost orders.
- UPS Worldwide Express - If you need it a little faster this is your a little faster option.
- 2 business days to Canada, 3 to 5 business days to the rest of the world. However, orders can be delayed in customs (see notes about customs below).
- Costs vary based on your order and location and will be shown during checkout. Packages are fully trackable and insured, plus, delivery is guaranteed.
- Fair warning!! These shipments typically go through customs and get assessed any applicable duties and taxes. Again, see notes about customs below.
- We recommend choosing this option for the assurance it provides, especially for time sensitive, important or larger orders.
Wholesale and Distributor Shipping Charges
- Wholesale and Distributor Orders - The above pricing is for standard orders and does not apply to wholesale and distributor orders. We typically ship orders through UPS and Asendia, but can use other shipping companies with your provided account number. We can provide shipping quotes prior to shipping your order.
Customs, Duties and Taxes on International Orders:
Any customs, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Some countries may require us to collect taxes, GST, or VAT on their behalf. We will do so only if required and applicable taxes will be shown during checkout. Customers are responsible for understanding the laws and processes related to duties and taxes in their country and region. We cannot control whether a package gets delayed and/or charged duties and taxes by the customs office in any international country.
Sales Tax
Taxes will be charged on most U.S. orders, excluding military addresses and wholesale orders. Recent legislation has allowed states to mandate whether sales tax can be charged on online purchases shipping to their state. Most states have enacted laws to take advantage of this. Based on the shipping address of your order, we may now be required to charge sales tax. We know no one likes paying taxes but it is important that we adhere to all applicable state tax laws.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I receive and use a downloadable PDF pattern?
Within an hour of your purchase, you will be receive an e-mail from kimberly@fatquartershop.com with a link to download your pattern at the e-mail address you supplied with your order. In the e-mail, click on the link to the pattern. You will be prompted to download the pattern. We recommend that you save the pattern on your computer so you can easily find it in the future.
You will need software such as Adobe Reader in order to view and print the PDF pattern. You may download it for free here. Once you have downloaded the pattern, open the PDF file and print as you would a regular document. For best results, make sure your document is set to print at 100% scale or with option "no scaling" before printing.
You are now ready to use your PDF pattern!
